I am so happy you are here! Welcome to my blog!
Cleaning, Crafts, DIY, Tips & Tricks, and more! Come along with me as I bring you the content you’re looking for!
My first DIY of this week is my newest frugal find!
Laundry soap is SO expensive these days, even more so when you or your children have sensitive skin.
My son breaks out from EVERYTHING. And I mean EVERYTHING. I have spent hundreds of dollars on every name brand, Excema friendly, super sensitive formula I could find. Nothing worked.
UNTIL…
I found this recipe, tweaked it a little, and BOOM! His excema breakouts came to a halt.
PLUS.. this is a great alternative if you’re watching your budget. The Holidays are here and times are tough. Why not pinch a few pennies when you can?
Cost effective and long lasting. All these items can be found at your local Walmart or other superstores.
I’ve been using this formula for 2 months now, and I don’t have a single complaint. Our clothes come out clean and fresh. Without the chemical residue, most liquid detergents leave behind.
DIY Laundry Detergent
• 4 Cups 20 Mule Team Borax
• 4 Cups Arm & Hammer Washing Soda
• 2 Cups grated Fels Naptha soap bar
• 1/3 Cup Epsom Salt (optional)
• Essential Oils to scent preference
Try this recipe and let me know what you think!!
