Hi, I’m Maggie!

I want to introduce myself and say I am so happy you are here!

I am a young Wife and Mom of two. Our little family is nestled in North Central Arkansas in the Ozark Mountains. We love being outdoors and living a slower life compared to your normal rat-race routine.

About a year ago I lost my job and began my journey to fulfilling my dream. I’ve always wanted to use my artistic talents and “wanna-be” writing skills to my advantage. So here we are, just taking it one day at a time as a traditional homemaker while trying to bring back the old-time values we hold so dear.

A New Beginning

After I lost my job, the calculations began. We had just sold our home and moved into a rental for the time being. Although I worked fulltime, I barely made enough to pay the babysitter and gas money for my commute. Here in rural Arkansas, jobs are few and far between.

Words of Wonder

The thought of putting myself out there in such a way was very overwhelming. What if I fail…

Oh, but what if I SUCCEED?

What if I show my kids how important it is to take risks. Sometimes stepping outside of your comfort zone is exactly what you need to do.

I had no idea where to start, what people wanted, or what to do first. Let me tell you, the amount of YouTube videos and Pinterest articles I’ve read, is RIDICULOUS. But I am extremely grateful for these tools because without them, you wouldn’t be reading this nor would I have been confident enough to start this amazing journey.
